What is UBC Wellness Centre?
The UBC Wellness Centre is a peer-hosted space to direct members of the UBC community to resources and services to support their health and wellbeing. Main services provided include free harm reduction supplies (including naloxone training/kits and fentanyl test strips), educational outreach through wellbeing related courses and workshops, and their in-person Sexual Health Shop, which is an inclusive and educational sexual health space where students can purchase safe and low-cost sex toys

To get in contact with the Wellness Centre, students can reach out from the following avenues:
1. Going to the Wellness Centre website and filling out a form from the “Ask the Info Desk” tab
2. Visit the Wellness Centre Front Desk in person

5. Follow the Wellness Center on Instagram (@ubcwellnesscentre) to stay updated and indulge in some health and wellness-related content!

What are their hours of operation?
The UBC Wellness Centre is open all week from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday

What does the UBC Wellness Centre have to offer?
Workshops provided by the Wellness Centre, are organized by the Health Equity, Promotion, and Education team, consisting of trained staff, student staff, and student volunteers. The Wellness Centre offers self-directed education for many topics such as mental health, peer support, SAVE LIVES: Harm Reduction and Naloxone Training, and more. They also offer wellbeing-themed learning and educational event opportunities for UBC staff, students, and faculty such as Suicide Awareness and Intervention Training and Mental Health Trivia. For bookings and further information, please contact the Wellness Centre or submit a form through this website.

What is the resource table?
You can visit the resource table, placed right outside of the Wellness Centre, for access to some free grab-and-go items like condoms, drug testing kits, and more!
You can ask any questions you may have about health resources or services by visiting the student staff who support the Front Desk inside of the Wellness Centre.
