What is a piece of advice that you would give to students attending the Kindustry career fair?
The main piece of advice we would give to students attending the KUS career fair is to explore, be curious, and ask questions. There are many different career options when you graduate and the more you explore the options, the better you will understand where you would like to take your future career. Kinesiologists can work in many different areas. It is common for them to work with populations who are looking for sports and performance training, personal training, chronic disease management, injury recovery, and injury prevention. Kinesiologists can work with individuals of all ages and abilities including youth, athletes, and seniors. Many kinesiologists earn master’s or PhD degrees and move into research. Others go on to become physiotherapists or business owners. Wherever your life and career takes you, it is always best to explore your opportunities and enhance your life by building a career you love.
Please provide any links to volunteer opportunities or job opportunities that you would like to offer students and that might be of interest to them.
